Privacy notice

What we collect. Your name, email and phone, your skaters' names, dates of birth and Skate Canada numbers, an emergency contact, and any allergy or medical information you choose to give us. If you pay by card, the card details go straight to Stripe and are never seen or stored by Mt Boucherie Skating Club or this portal.

Why. To register your skaters in classes, put the right names on helmets and class lists, contact you about classes, keep everyone safe on the ice, and keep financial records.

Who sees it. The club's registrars and administrators. A teacher sees only the skaters in their own classes, including any medical note you gave us. Nothing is sold or shared for marketing. A Skate Canada membership is part of registering, so the club shares each skater's name, date of birth and the parent's contact details with Skate Canada to find or register their membership, and records the Skate Canada number and registration number it gives back. Nothing else is shared with them.

How long we keep it. Medical notes are deleted 12 months after your skater's last class. Accounts with no activity for 24 months are anonymised. Payment records are kept for seven years, as tax law requires, with names removed once an account is anonymised.

Your rights. You can see, correct and download your family's information from your account page, and ask us to delete it. Write to info@skatemtb.com.
